Getting the most out of your bandana
We know that upon hearing the word "bandana," a lot of people envision cowboys and bandits of the Wild West with kerchiefs tied across their faces. However, we are here to tell you that this is not the only way to style a bandana.
If you're new to the world of bandanas, or are just looking for some fresh ways to rock yours, here are some ideas!
- Wear in your hair: fold on the diagonal for maximum hair coverage, which is useful for windy days and driving with the windows down. Or for more of a hairband look, simply roll and tie with a knot in the front (or back!).
- Tie around your neck: fold on the diagonal for a classic triangle bandana look that showcases its design. Or roll from one corner and knot in the front; this is a particularly great look with crewneck sweaters.
- Tie to your tote/purse: to give your bag a bit of flair.
- Stick in your back pocket: for a pop of color and easy access when you need to wipe something down, be it hands, face, small child, etc.
- Tie around your hat: Wearing a wide brim hat? A bandana can be a versatile hat band to add some pizzazz.
- Run through your belt loops: If you can, you can wear as a belt. Otherwise, just run through a couple of loops and knot.
