I have a question about:

Orders & Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

**PLEASE NOTE: ORDERS PLACED AFTER 15 DECEMBER WILL SHIP MID-JANUARY**

Cowboys & Tigers is currently a one-woman rodeo (note from editor: yes, I use the royal "we" all over this website, but hey, I always wanted to be a princess). So please allow 5-7 business days for your order to be processed and packed.

Once a USPS /UPS shipping label has been created, you'll receive an email with tracking info, so you can keep an eye on how it's, well, tracking.

Please remember that once your order is handed over to the carrier its journey is out of our control (although we will shower it with love and prayers of safe passage), and we can't be held responsible for lost packages.

Can I order if I'm outside the U.S.?

Yes and No...

For our mates in the UK, it turns out we need to register for a VAT number, which will take a few weeks innit. womp womp. So no bandanas for the Brits until 2026 :(

For our other international pals:

As far as we can tell, you're good to go! However, please note that we have no control over international shipping costs (so might be a bit spenny!), or any import duties, customs, etc. that your fine government might want to collect upon delivery. If for some reason it's not letting you place an order to your country, please message us and we'll take a look.

But if that hasn't deterred you, we're grateful for your order, and we'll figure out a way to get it to you from the Lone Star State!

Can I cancel my order?

While we'd hate anyone to regret their order, we get that mistakes happen. If you contact us within 24 hours of ordering we can cancel your order and issue a refund.

Can I return my order?

As we're a small business, all sales are final -- thank you for your understanding!

There's something wrong with my order, help!

Oh no! Shoot us a message via the Contact page, and we'll get you sorted.

I have a question about:

My bandana

Tell me about my Cowboys & Tigers bandana

Your bandana loves long trail rides, Friday night two-stepping, and an ice-cold Shiner on the back porch.

That aside, your small-batch Cowboys & Tigers bandana was designed in Austin, TX and is 100% cotton. While the cotton is imported, it was cut, sewn, printed, and washed by a very nice and very busy gentleman in Nashville, TN.

It was printed with discharge printing, ensuring that you can see the design on both sides of the bandana, and there's no hand-feel (rather than some printing styles where the ink just sits on the surface of the fabric).

It's hemmed on all four sides, because we like a nice cohesive look.

It's approximately 22"x22", which we think is the perfect size.

It's pre-washed, so it's already soft and ready to wear.

It's designed so that if you fold it on the diagonal, you can still see the fun parts of the design. It makes us sad when all the action is in the middle of the square.

And it's very much looking forward to hanging out with you.

How do I wash my bandana?

Your Cowboys & Tigers bandana is 100% cotton, which means you don't need to be too precious. Just toss it in the cold wash with like colors. You can then put it through the dryer or hang and air dry. Since it's better for the environment, and doesn't take too long, we'd vote air dry.

Are bandanas only for summer?

Nope! Bandanas are season agnostic and look great all year round.

I've been gifted a bandana and I'm not really sure how to use it. Help?

Lucky you! Welcome! We get that it can be overwhelming, as there are just so many options! We've got thought starters here

Why are bandanas so great?

Selina has put together her bandana manifesto here, in case you need some convincing.

Are bandanas actually Texan?

So, funnily enough, bandanas originated in India. The word bandana is apparently derived from a Hindi word bandhani, which means "to tie." The ever useful and colorful bandana eventually made its way across continents and oceans, and embedded itself in American culture. You can read a bit more about its history here

I have a question about:

Cowboys & Tigers

Where did the idea for Cowboys & Tigers come from?

You can read about our origin story here.

Who did the designs, because I know Selina can't draw

Hi, Selina here: first off, rude. But also, yes, fair, anyone who has played Pictionary with me knows that drawing is not my strong point. So while the ideas for all the designs are mine, I worked with Austin designer Lauren Moore, of MooreBetter Creative Studio, who took my sketches and helped bring them to life. Thank you, Lauren 🙏 .

Why the name Cowboys & Tigers?

The name Cowboys & Tigers is in part a nod to Selina's Texan paternal grandfather (Cowboy) and Indian maternal grandmother (Tiger), who both heavily influenced Selina through their very different cultural identities. It's also because Selina loves imagery of cowboys and tigers. :)

I'd like to stock your bandanas / do something cool / make C&T famous

ooh, let's chat! Hit me up!
